Agreed Mark re the revisions log.

I have already extracted the web documents to my computer. As you say, not too much hassle, but why should it be necessary?

It would be nice if VCAA maintained a public and transparent revisions log of such online resources so readers could refer to amendments.

And regarding the downloadable version of the 'Advice' site, it is not terribly hard (I imagine) to find site leeching tools to quickly rip all of the web pages and support documents to one's hard disk, and even automatically revise all of the pages' links so they work on a local computer, even when offline.

That could also be a way to archive historical versions of the site to later confirm any amendments.

The joys of online publishing. Proof reading not done by the producers.

While I can appreciate some of the advantages of having an online document, it also seems to me that with an important document such as this there should be a downloadable version, clearly dated, so that teachers can have the document at their fingertips even when not online.

It is also of concern that the online document can be changed without teachers knowing and being aware of the changes.

Hi all. There seems to be a problem with two links on

http://www.digipubs.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce-computing/vce-computing-units-3-and-4-software-dev

The links to

*	Unit 3 Outcome 1 <http://www.digipubs.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce-computing/vce-computing-units-3-and-4-informatics-unit-3-performance>  and

*	Unit 4 Outcome 2 <http://www.digipubs.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce-computing/vce-computing-units-3-and-4-informatics-unit-4-performance> .

point to Informatics, not SD.

They should point to
http://www.digipubs.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce-computing/vce-computing-units-3-and-4-software-dev-unit-3-performance

and

http://www.digipubs.vic.edu.au/vcaa/vce-computing/vce-computing-units-3-and-4-software-dev-unit-4-performance

respectively.
