[Yr11 Information Technology] VITTA ICT Week 2007

VITTA is very exciting and pleased to announce the upcoming ICT Week!  We
have been working hard putting together a number of events that will
hopefully give students the opportunity to get involved in a variety of
different ways.

 

'Switched on: ICT Now' will take place from 23-27 July and will allow
Victorian schools P-12 to showcase their best practice in learning and
teaching.  The week will be headlined by an ICT Careers Expo that will be
held at Xavier College on the 25th July from 7.15pm - 9pm.  Here is a link

The ICT Careers Expo in particular is an event that will allow students and
parents the opportunity to meet with tertiary and industry groups to gain a
better understanding of the careers options available in ICT and how an ICT
degree will become an increasingly important pre-requisite in many career
choices.

 

Please promote this event with your ICT classes and pass this email (or
link) on to your careers advisers so that they can do the same.
