be interested in general advice / experience people have with laptops

we're looking to purchase a class set or maybe two, particularly for more authentically embedding ICT approaches into maths, - not just demo's, but using the processing and building capacity in a way that facilitates thinking,

what models do people like?

whats this eeePC like?

has vandalism a problem?

been a few years since i was in a school that had class sets - and they seemed quite successful then

etc ...

thanks
