The short answer is probably no, there are no comparable drag&drop 
programming tools for the Mac. The latest Macs will run Windows and other 
Macs will run a windows emulator, slowly.

Kahootz offers creative and storytelling opportunities but does not hold the 
challenge of problem solving and deep thinking that you will get with 
Gamemaker.

There are some open source tools, eg Python and Squeak, but they are text 
based, not nearly as good as drag and drop programming.
