Just following on from Peter's post..
After seeing Peter's extensive wiki that he had created for his VET class, I
was inspired to create my own. It has been running for more than a week
now, and the my students are warming to it. I think it will really come
into its own around SAC times and certainly in preparing for the final exam.

Good to see you trying Wikispaces, (re: our VITTA meeting) - I will be
presenting at the VITTA PD on 9th March regarding the use of Wikispaces in
Senior Level studies. I use them for all my IT classes.
I even have the students edit - and post examples of their work,
e-portfolios (VELS), and they are using "contemporary communication tools"

you can create an educational wiki for free.
