[Yr11 Information Technology] OT: Voice recogniction software

We have used the free DragonDictate app or even Siri, with any voice in my class, as I am doing right now to illustrate. Should be quite easily adapted by your student.

No training needed. It works better when you use an iPhone or iPad with a headset. Carefully annunciate each word. Keep sentences short and read out the included punctuation. Any howlers or odd expressions can be easily corrected later. It is free to download and it is similar to the dictation software built into every Mac computer. I'm surprised that more people don't use this.

I had some fun writing reports this way but it doesn't help when you've got nothing to say.

Sent from my iPhone

So thought using a voice recognition software may assist him. we are looking at Dragon software but if you have any other suggestions would appreciate
