Dear all,

Some of you might be familiar with our annual SwinGame competition and for some of you this might be the first time you've heard of it.

What is SwinGame?
SwinGame 2010 is a games development competition for all Australian Secondary School students. It is a chance to win great prizes, gain real-world experience in software and games development and work on a fun creative project with friends.

The SwinGame competition is an exciting opportunity to showcase technical and design skills by creating a game using the SwinGame Software Development Kit. SwinGame 2010 will have two categories; the main category being Arcade as well as an Open category. Students who enter in the Arcade category will automatically be entered into the Open category.
Who can enter the SwinGame competition?
The competition is open to all students from Secondary Schools in Australia. Entries can be for an individual or in teams of up to three members (all members must be from the same school).
What can students win?
Arcade Category:
- 1st prize is $2,500 cash for the team or individual student
- 2nd prize is $1,000 cash for the team or individual student
- 3rd prize is $500 cash for the team or individual student
Open Category (open to non-arcade games):
- 1st prize is $500 cash for the team or individual student
