Can anyone tell me how to get a file list (i.e. like windows list view) rather than an icon view when browsing directories in MS IE
Internet Explorer.
When I point a link to a directory, it displays in icon view so that users can't read the file names etc.
As it is in IE rather than windows explorer, they can't even change to list view.

"In the old days", the default folder view was a "Netscape like" file listing.
This (as with many other useful features ahs disappeared in some upgrade.
