VCE study reviews in 2011

Systems Engineering 

 

The accreditation period for VCE Systems Engineering ends on 31 December 2012. This VCE study will undergo a review during 2011. Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified persons to participate in the curriculum review, evaluation and development process associated with the redevelopment of study designs for these studies. Review panels typically

consist of 8-10 members from schools, universities, training, industry and business sectors who are appointed according to their expertise and capacity to contribute to the review process.

 

The membership for the Systems Engineering Review Panel will be drawn from the expressions of interest received. All applicants will be notified about the outcome of the nomination and approval process.

 

Panel meetings are held at the VCAA office in East Melbourne. Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Principles and guidelines for the development and review of VCE studies document, published as Supplement 1 to the March 2009 VCAA Bulletin VCE, VCAL and VET No. 68. Review panels

Expressions of interest now open on SSMS Expressions of interest* can be lodged through the VCAA Sessional Staff Management System (SSMS) via www.ssms.vic.edu.au <http://www.ssms.vic.edu.au/> 

 

 

The SSMS website accepts and processes applications for review panels. For technical support or access enquiries please telephone (03) 9225 2305 or email: assessment.administration.vcaa at edumail.vic.gov.au

 

 

Enquiries regarding the application for membership of review panels can be directed to Danae de Kretser, VCE Curriculum on (03) 9651 4453 or email:

Expressions of interest are due by Wednesday 8 December 2010.
