Hi all. I really, really disliked trying to write a page about "*SD U3O2
KK05 - formatting and structural characteristics of efficient and effective
input and output*"

I tried at http://www.vceit.com/SD/format-structure-of-io.htm and was still
not too happy when I'd finished.

The formatting aspect was not too bad, but trying to explain structural
characteristics of input wasn't nice. The study design gives no clues, the
old Fitzpatrick & Keane text didn't seem to refer to it, and it does not
appear in Adrian' text. Google has nothing to say about it. The term has
not appeared in any SD exam. I still don't know what the study design meant
by it.

I know I've asked here before, but does anyone have a clue what structural
characteristics of input actually refers to?

VITTA's 2011 second SD exam, question B3a, implies that it includes data
being suitable to be selected from a limited list.
I was thinking along the lines of structured records and files used for
input, so I had absolutely nothing to say for the question. The limited
list idea makes sense, but how else can data be structured to improve the
efficiency and/or effectiveness of input?

Help?
