[Year 12 SofDev] Java course resources

As it's time to move on from VB6 I am introducing a Java course from Year 10
feeding through to Sof Dev at Yr 12.

 

The goal of this is to bolt on an Android SDK and program for portable
devices.

 

Maybe ambitious, but I want to have a go.

 

There is not much Java speak on the list, but does anyone have resources
(print or online) to recommend for class use in this endeavour with NetBeans
and Android. (I may use Eclipse at Yr 12).
