Who would be interested in Hosting an OpenSource for Schools Meeting?
In Mid March?

After school, with light refreshments?
4.30-6.30?

2 x 40 min talks...
1 x 40 min Flexible Time slot for discussion, sharing experiences, or
impromptu 'lightening' talks or demos on using open source software.

1 talk from a school based practitioner: teacher or technician on using
Open Source in Education - for teaching and learning or supporting
teaching and learning. (GIMP, Moodle, PHP, Linux, OpenOffice etc)

1 talk from an open source developer on creating software or
participating in the community through bug reporting, documentation,
testing etc.

or open source community member on supporting open source solutions or
training options, career info... etc.

The idea is to build the kind of community for schools, that exists to
create the software itself.

Thoughts?
