Creating a few experimental "water wallies" ??

Another challenge, design an experiment that doesn't waste so much water ??

To: oz-teachers at rite.ed.qut.edu.au

I am a headteacher of science, currently on a teacher exchange from the UK
to Australia through the League for the Exchange of Commonwealth Teachers
(LECT - www.lect.org.uk).

I am trying to involve our students as much as possible in the exchange
(short of actually getting them to come to Australia!) so, in partnership
with NESTA (National Endowment for Science Technology
<http://www.nesta.org.uk/> and the Arts) in the UK who run a website called
Planet Science, I have set up an international experiment to find out:

Does water really go down the plughole the opposite way on the other side of
the world?

This has never been done before on such a large scale.and we need your help!
Please could you let any science teachers in your schools know about this
experiment - full details of how to go about the experiment, and how to
record the results online, can be found at:

The results will be analysed and published at the end of the year
