am a headteacher of science, currently on a teacher exchange from the UK to
Australia through the League for the Exchange of Commonwealth Teachers (LECT - <a
href="http://www.lect.org.uk" target="_blank">www.lect.org.uk</a>).<br>

I am trying to involve our students as much as possible in the exchange (short
of actually getting them to come to Australia!) so, in partnership with NESTA (</span><span
style='font-family:"Arial","sans-serif"'><a href="http://www.nesta.org.uk/"
target="_blank" title="NESTA Site">National Endowment for Science Technology
and the Arts</a>) in the UK who run a website called Planet Science, I have set
up an international experiment to find out:<br>

<b>Does water really go down the plughole the opposite way on the other side of
the world?</b><span style='color:#002242'><br>
<br>
This has never been done before on such a large scale&#8230;and we need your
help! Please could you let any science teachers in your schools know about this
experiment - full details of how to go about the experiment, and how to record
