[Moodle] Daily Bulletin on Moodle - whats the best method ?

We use the News forum on our front page. I created a user called 'The
Office' I modified it to not allow any replies although some might think it
would be a good thing to allow. It's at

Does anyone have any advice on the best method to deploy a daily bulletin
within Moodle ? - the calender was the obvious choice but I was wondering if
others have tackled this differently  ?
