Hi Donna

Long live the fraternity and sorority in these communities.
Unfortunately it is not only the domain name change that is problematic.

I am krozian.kevork.k at old ---> kevork.krozian at new

Initials are not always translated over , hence my reluctance to just modify the domain names.

Speak soon

Kevork

Dear wonderful humans of edulists!!
All of you.
I'm doing a bit of email cleaning, and found my way into this folder.
I remember we created a filter for edumail addresses, automatically changing edumail.vic.edu.au to edumail.vic.gov.au back in vitta website days as it was mistyped so often!
Kevork - indeed! I too salute you! Hear here, Andrew and Roland!
cheers

We were using Edulists when I was at St Bernard’s in the late 90’s
Kevork has been an incredible support to our community - I would have struggled without his help of edulists.
I remember migrating from my alphalink address to my own domain before I ever worked in a government school (shortell.andrew.c@ …)
I never used my school account for edulists because I regard Edulisters as more friends and supports not just work people
I have noticed the lower volume of emails over the last few years.
I will miss all of this when I retire - maybe in 2021 - depending on the state of my superannuation.
Kevorek — I salute you and your efforts.

Kevork,
a huge thank you for all your work to keep these lists running. They hark back to a time almost a decade before when there was only a handful of teachers in Victoria (yes, you and I included) who actually had an email account! When most teachers would tear off the fax-back form on a handout to register for an event.
I too shall bid a farewell to gesthuizen.roland.j at edumail.vic.gov.au (mailto:gesthuizen.roland.j at edumail.vic.gov.au) and the mysterious J letter that hides the 27 letters of my three middle names, to roland.gesthuizen at education.vic.gov.au (mailto:roland.gesthuizen at education.vic.gov.au) that glistens and sparkles with contactless email delivery.
Take care everybody
Regards Roland

Hello everyone

I hope you are well enough during these times.

As an FYI we have had a recent migration of government school email addresses from the edumail.* to the education.* domains.

For example I used to be
krozian.kevork.k at edumail.vic.gov.au (mailto:krozian.kevork.k at edumail.vic.gov.au) ( I don't have a middle name but was assumed to have one )

and am now

kevork.krozian at education.vic.gov.au (mailto:kevork.krozian at education.vic.gov.au)

Emails sent to the old address should still be automatically redirected to the new one.

Also you may have seen that recently only our private school colleagues have been able to post to edulists. This is because, for the government school colleagues, the Edulists server is expecting an edumail address and simply deleting emails sent from the new education.* address.

I am working on a way to automate this change and update everyone's email.

If you wish to contact me directly on kevork at edulists.com.au (mailto:kevork at edulists.com.au) I can fast track it for you.
Take Care

Kevork
