Hi Andrew,
So reading your message made me feel a little like Voldemort!! - not sure why I have 'earned' this honour!!!  haha!
I know that this is the IT Apps list - but to answer your question, there will be an SD text for the new study design put out by me.  Tentatively available mid-late next year.

There is a text for SD  (published by the author as a self published)
Not from Nelson 
It is available for iPad as interactive, as an e-book (pdf)  or even on paper (so last century)
It has been out for two years.
We would have to check with the author if it will be updated for the new study design ....
I use the text, last year 6 of them even purchased the paper version and the iPad version (Discount for combined purchase)They liked the feel of paper and the weight in their bag made them feel studious

Nelson supports the text but paper based texts are very expensive to actually produce, ship , handle, retail, count, etc etc

If this is first time teaching subject, some sort of text is very reassuring for teacher.... You also really need other resources. The archives of this list have a lot of stuff - and resources !
