[Year 12 IT Apps] State schools and the Information Privacy Act (2000)

Hi folks. You may remember that the 2013  ITA exam's question
B8a<http://www.vceit.com/p/postmortem-2013i.htm#b8>hinged on whether
state schools were or were not subject to the IPA.

I wrote to the Victorian Privacy Commissioner's office and - for the record
-  they confirmed that state schools *do* have obligations under the IPA.

I assume that non-government schools would not.

This may come in handy in future.
