My keyboard and screen were littered with templates and sticky notes with all the shortcuts on them. Now my screen is just littered with open windows!

...and memorising the dozens of ALT/CTRL/Fn key shortcuts... not much better than Wordstar in that respect!

But I absolutely loved and still miss the ability to 'Reveal Codes' to manually adjust WP's formatting codes.
Word has always been a monster for not allowing us to manage its nasty embedded codes.

Still hunting for WordPerfect 5.1 and the WordPerfect Office DOS desktop! Possibly the greatest text-based switching and "multitasking" environment ever built - it supported all sorts of wonderful macros that would let all my open applications talk with each other (even Paradox to WordPerfect)

Hmm, it would be interesting to see if anybody can get Napser working again, curious about where it left off and it stimulated some good discussions amongst the students last month about copyright and marketshare. Perhaps in a VM it could work ..

Hi all.

If you've ever installed a new version of a program and regretted it forever because it was broken, it had removed your favourite features, or it had turned into a bloated tub of useless lard, this site may be useful to you...

It's great when a software "upgrade" isn't what you expected.
