Hi Vera and All
I have had to combine my Year 11 & Year 12 classes for the last 3 years.
At first with the new study design I was thinking OMG!!
But with some planning and rearranging of Tasks/Outcomes and Topics it can work.

Last Year I had 15 Year 12's and only 7 year 11's.
This year I had 7 Year 12's (2 of which were Year 11's) and 13 year 11's.
Next year it's is looking at 5 Year 12's and about 15 Year 11's

Having done this now for 3 years I feel quite comfortable with my coursework and outcomes.
Just means that I have to be highly organised and having a smartboard and saving notes and everything available on your network makes it easy.
I just get the students together break down what each group is doing that day then run around for 70 minutes making sure everyone is on task and helping them.

Hope this helps

Frank
