In preparation for Excel I have attached the Excel Functions workbook in which students can observe the application of a renge of functions.

I have updated the Tax Calculator to include the Tax schedules for 2008-9 and 2009-10 as provided in the last Federal Budget.

I have also added an extra worksheet: Loan calculator, using a PMT function. Students will be interested in calculating the repayments for loans and the total interest cost for loans.

Students (and teachers) can view prevailing formulas by hovering mouse over the respective cells.

The password (pw) is provided on all worksheets if you want to unprotect worksheets.

As in past years, I acknowledge that some of the worksheets are derived from Greg Bowden's textbook: Learning Microsoft Excel 2000.

Hi,

I think someone was asking about this tool I posted a little while ago. Anyway here it is again. Enjoy.

Hello Everyone
Here is an Excel workbook I made a little while ago to help me mark SACs. Basically it makes new assessment sheets based on template and keeps track of all the students marks from those sheets on a summary sheet and makes it a bit easier to navigate to different student's assessment sheets too. Anyhow have a play, it saved me a bit of time and effort, hopefully someone else finds it useful too. I included a little instruction sheet too.

Cheers,
