	FileMaker is great teaching tool for those students who will
never develop or seriously use a database but will need an understanding
of what one is.

	 

	Access is a dreadful teaching tool, students are able to
successfully create a semi-sophisticated database with out understanding

	Yes we have Mark, and told you what I thought then. Afaiak
Filemaker is a toy. Anyway, your post does not disagree with what I said
in mine where I commented on the use of databases in commercial
settings. I did say that FM had gained a foothold in educational
environments.
