Hello DATTA Vic members.

My name is Laura Murphy, and as you'll know, I 've just started working with DATTA Vic as the new Education Executive Officer.  For those of you I haven’t spoken to yet, I wanted to write to introduce myself and say hello!  I’m really looking forward to working with you all.

We have already started planning for 2015, and very shortly will be posting our draft Professional Learning calendar on our website at www.datta.vic.edu.au. The dates and venues are yet to be finalised, but it should give you an idea of some of the workshops we'll be running.  And we want your input!  If you have any particular interests or areas in which you need support, please let us know and we will do our best to help.

Also, we want to hear from you if you have ideas for workshops that you could deliver for other teachers - particularly, in regional areas.

Sadly my first email to you also has some bad news!  Some of you might have noticed that our website is currently down, but we are working on getting it back up and running as soon as possible!

So keep an eye on our website (when it's fixed!) and get in touch if you have any questions, comments or additions to the proposed calendar.
