SolidWorks 3D Design Software offers you and your students every advantage

ü Offers your students flexible curriculum

SolidWorks curriculum provides individual lessons, team-oriented design projects and web based learning with assessments that allow you to address multiple students' needs and levels

ü Training and support for YOU

Training and support by Intercad - your local supply, support & training organisation- are always close at hand: from installation support to training, Intercad is there to ensure your success. And when you become a SolidWorks user, you'll be joining a community with more than one million users.

ü Provide your students with SolidWorks software- outside the classroom

With SolidWorks Student Access, you can give your students the tool they need to design their ideas even when they're not in school.

ü Prepare your students to succeed in the real world

SolidWorks teaches the design and engineering skills needed to join the workforce. When you take advantage of the Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) Program- and industry-standard engineering design competency exam- you'll be helping students affirm CAD proficiency to potential employers.

As a complete design, engineering and analyses software suite, the SolidWorks Education Edition has everything your students need to succeed. Easy to teach and learn, SolidWorks offers innovative software tools, curriculum and tutorials. Plus, it has a short learning curve and as a result, students can easily translate ides into models and models into prototypes.

Teachers no longer need to be technology experts, rather focus on applying CAD learning program in classrooms and watch students develop new skills. Tutorials on how to get started are located inside the software. More tutorials are found at www.solidworks.com/tutorials<http://www.solidworks.com/tutorials> and some great resources can be found on the Ireland's Technology Subject Support Services website T4 Technology<http://www.t4.ie/technology_class.htm>

I invite you to implement SolidWorks 3D CAD in your classrooms to challenge the innovation skills and collaborative efforts of students. If you wish to receive a FREE, no obligation trial license including curriculum resources DVD please feel free to contact Intercad on 02 9454 4429 or email education at intercad.com.au<mailto:education at intercad.com.au>

Subject: [Design and Technology] 3D CAD modeling software

Dear All,

I was looking for some 3D CAD modeling software for our Senior school students - 10 to 12 .

We are interested in something that produces some complex surfaces, with photo realistic renders. It is intended to be used in our Product Design, Systems, Visual Communication and Design, Media and Studio Arts classes.

Currently we are looking at Rhino 3D.

Any thoughts, suggestions?

Kind Regards

Antony
