Are you a senior school or tertiary student studying arts, design, textiles, fashion or visual communications? Would you like to attend a free creative workshop?
The British Council is pleased to welcome the University of the Arts London to Australia.
University of the Arts London is recognised around the world as a leading institution for teaching and research in arts, design, fashion, communication and the performing arts. They are the largest specialist art and design university in Europe featuring six top colleges:
* Camberwell College of Arts
* Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design
* Chelsea College of Art and Design
* London College of Communication
* London College of Fashion
* Wimbledon College of Art
The Colleges offer a diverse range of courses at all levels from foundation and undergraduate to postgraduate and research. The tutors are experts and practitioners in their fields, who know what it takes to make a successful career.
The experimental workshop ‘Seen, but not heard’ explores the link between sound, emotions and visual imagery with Cath Johnson, International Academic Coordinator at University of the Arts London. Building on different elements of drawing and mark making, participants are encouraged to communicate ideas and emotions in response to sound/music and to develop 2-dimensional work into 3-dimensional pieces.
