Dear Colleagues,

 

After the success of last year’s Exam Preparation Workshops for Students we are holding  VCE PD&T Exam Preparation Workshops for Students in Term 3. 

Please see below for further details:

 

VCE PD&T Exam Preparation for Students PL13024

The VCE Product Design and Technology Exam Preparation workshop for students and teachers is a 3 hour activity. This workshop provides opportunities for students and teachers to work together and:

·        Review the content that is covered by the exam, particularly focusing on the areas new to the study design. 

·        Gain important information from the examiner’s report and gain a deeper understanding of what is looked for in an exam response. 

·        Understand where students have gone wrong in the past. 

·        Carry out activities that help in exam preparation. 

·        Be able to share ideas and tips to gain the best results.

 

This is a unique opportunity for students and teachers to work together and prepare for this year’s Exam in Product Design and Technology.

Cost:

$20.00 per student (teachers attend for free ONLY if the accompany students attending. Fees for teachers attending without students is $80.00 per teacher)

·        Review the content that is covered by the exam, particularly focusing on the areas new to the study design. 

·        Gain important information from the examiner’s report and gain a deeper understanding of what is looked for in an exam response. 

·        Understand where students have gone wrong in the past. 

·        Carry out activities that help in exam preparation. 

·        Be able to share ideas and tips to gain the best results.

This workshop can be accessed through Polycom. If your school does not have a polycom unit please contact Amy Lilley-Stewart at pl at datta.vic.edu.au who will be able to advise where the nearest Polycom unit is to your location.

Cost:

$20.00 per student (teachers attend for free ONLY if the accompany students attending. Fees for teachers attending without students is $80.00 per teacher)



VCE PD&T Exam Preparation Polycom: For Regional Schools PL13023
This workshop will assist you to prepare your students for the end of year exam. This workshop will focus on:

·       Review and refreshment of Unit 3 and 4 outcomes 

      · Ideas and strategies to assist 

      · Relevant information from the examiner’s report on previous exams 

      ·  Activities that are suitable for students 

      · Sharing ideas and tips to gain the best results.
