[Design and Technology] VCE Exposure

Hi all, I am trying to plug a gap in my portfolio around curriculum and VCE etc.
I have applied for posts and the only feedback I have managed to get is based around my lack of knowledge/experience with the Australian way of doing things.
Therefore, to help bridge this gap would it be possible for me to spend a couple of days with anyone at their school seeing how things work?
