Academy Photographic Portrait Prize
Call For Submissions
Closing date 29 May, 2008.
 
The Australian Academy of Design Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual
competition. Finalists of the 2008 competition will be exhibited in the
Academy¹s Port Melbourne Gallery from 11 June till 4 July 2008
 
The Australian Academy of Design invites entries from photographers in the
following categories:
Category A: Open 
Category B: Tertiary students (inc. TAFE students)
Category C:  Years 10-12 secondary school students
            
Awards
In each Category A, B, and C:
1st place:     Nikon Coolpix digital camera courtesy of Michaels Camera
Store & Nikon valued at $299
2nd place:    $175 voucher from Michaels Camera Store.
3rd place:     $90 voucher from Michaels Camera Store.
 
In addition, a Scholarship to study at the Australian Academy of Design in
the Bachelor of Design Arts (Photo Media) degree will be awarded to the
overall winner from Categories B and C.
