</B>The Australian Academy of Design Photographic Portrait Prize is an annual competition. Finalists of the 2008 competition will be exhibited in the Academy’s Port Melbourne Gallery from 11 June till 4 July 2008 <BR>
<B> <BR>
</B>The Australian Academy of Design invites entries from photographers in the following categories:<BR>
Category A: Open <BR>
Category B: Tertiary students (inc. TAFE students)<BR>
Category C: Years 10-12 secondary school students<BR>
<BR>
<B>Awards<BR>
</B>In each Category A, B, and C:<BR>
1st place: <FONT COLOR="#0000FE">Nikon Coolpix digital camera courtesy of Michaels Camera Store & Nikon valued at $299 <BR>
</FONT>2nd place: <FONT COLOR="#0000FF">$175 voucher from Michaels Camera Store</FONT>. <BR>
3rd place: <FONT COLOR="#0000FF">$90 voucher from Michaels Camera Store.<BR>
</FONT> <BR>
In addition, a Scholarship to study at the Australian Academy of Design in the Bachelor of Design Arts (Photo Media) degree will be awarded to the overall winner from Categories B and C.<BR>
