I can certainly reccomend Denford CNC Machines for use in schools as they are designed specifically for educational use. I would go for a router rather than a lathe as this opens up more possibilities for manufacturing. You can check out www.denford.co.uk for more details - look at the Compact 1000 machine. The Aus distributor is Re-Engineering Australia (www.rea.org.au). You need to to talk to a guy called Paul Bray.

Can someone please help Trevor here?



Can you help me with some ideas on who uses CAM milling machines and lathes (Probably desktop models) in secondary schools. I figure you will have some contacts on suppliers or some ideas. We are currently building a new tech wing and think that it woul be a usefull addition. A quick response would be much appreciated.
