Colleagues,

I have just come across http://www.classroom20.com/ which seems to have
lots of pertinent discussions about software and approaches.

I have also just stumbled into "Platinum Arts Sandbox"
(http://kids.platinumarts.net/) which claims to be an "open source easy to
use standalone Free 3D Game Maker and 3D Game Design program".  Has anyone
had any experience with it?
