As a boring old teacher in the system I will say what I have always said
- don't put something down until you believe you can do better! In other
words - until you believe you can give a better and more inspirational
KeyNote address or until you can come up with a better "buzzphrase"
please don't criticize those who are just trying to inspire us all.

The 'buzzphrase' for the conference - "you say you want a revolution" -
was chosen LONG before any election dates or election promises were
thought of - and the phrase was NOT meant to be political in any way. To
give you some idea of the time frame for these things - discussion on
NEXT YEAR'S "buzzphrase" began last Tuesday night - and I am sure your
contributions would be welcome and considered.

Cheers

heheh, if I get shouted down like that on a *discussion* list, why
would I want to join a committee for more of the same? If dissenting
opinions are not only unvalued but vehemently attacked, what is the
point?
