I don't have the task, but I'd guess that a task analysis table would be 
a list of the tasks, their durations and perhaps the people involved. 
That data would then be used to create the Gantt chart.

No, I haven't heard of a task analysis table either.  It might be like 
what the Potts text calls a Project table (p.31).

There is something called a task analysis table at

which I have added as an attachment.

which is totally different.

It seems, once again, that there is precious little agreement in the IT 
world about standards for naming :-)
