ate-flash> Teaching Flash in Interactive Digital Media - Part 2 -
Intermediate Flash

Wednesday 31 October 2012 - 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

This is a new initiative from VITTA and Adobe to help teachers and students
who are working through the VET/VCE Interactive Digital Media (IDM) courses
in Years 11 and 12. The presenters are Dr Tim Kitchen and Chemère
Birkensleigh. Together they bring great depth and experience and share
their skills from schools (Tim) and industry (Chemère).

Using Adobe Flash, learn the techniques to make your animations “come
alive”. Tim and Chemère will show you how to:

A) make your walk cycle look real with the bones technique

B) control your animation with simple Action Script

You will enjoy learning these methods and be able to teach them to your
students. Your students will be delighted with these techniques. They will
be able to produce outstanding animated presentations and be well prepared
and confident when completing the practical section of the end of the
VET/VCE Interactive Digital Media examination.

When: Wednesday 31 October 2012

Time: 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Venue: Strathcona Multimedia Centre, 34 Scott St, Canterbury
