[vet-mm] Photoshop Exercises (that will work in CS3)

I have no choice as it has been loaded as a school licence. Any task
completed would surely be competency based anyway and would apply
whether it was Photoshop 7 or CS3. CS3 uses actionscript 3 but gives you
the choice of actionscript 2 which I will stick too until I personally
have my head around 3.

Personally I'd avoid using CS3 until we have to - Actionscript in Flash
CS3 is significantly different to CS2 and there isn't a huge number of
resources on the new version yet.

Hi all!

I am in the same boat: VETMM Cert II for the first time.

Resources to teach the 2D Graphics units is what I really would love.

We have CS2 - do we have to use CS3?

Not much out there for a newbie...

Hi everyone,

I've only just joined up for the group emails in the last day or two.

This year I'm teaching a Multimedia subject for the first time and have
not much in the way of resources.

I've used Photshop Elements at home myself for quite a while to mess
around with my own photos and make layered composites and collages for
websites etc.

But now I need to teach secondary students how to use the "proper" CS3
version.

There are heaps of great movie tutorials on youtube, and Adobe supplies
a great how to video set with CS3; but does anyone have any classroom
activitites (or know where to find them) for the students to do and
learn ?

I did get a great Mr Potato Head type selection tools tutorial activity,
from here at edulists, that the kids really loved doing,

but I need more of the same please.

Thanks Paul P
