Hi Everyone

Why do students need a calculator in the exam? Is it just for desk checking?

I remember teaching Software Development when I first started teaching and we had to calculate if a number of records would fit on a CD or need something else but I can't see any points in the current Study Design that would expect that.

I also couldn't find anything about them needing to be able to convert binary to decimal.

This is my first time teaching the subject in a while and any advice would be appreciated.

Regards
