[Year 12 SofDev] Mac GUI programming tools for SofDev

students can download a free version (from MicroSloth website - hat tip to Mike Brooks) that will not make exe
Need to register with an email address — so students can use at home

I use Visual studio on a mac — I use VM Ware (Cause i like it and I pay for it)

There is the option to use bootcamp and install windows on the mac   — or to use Virtual Box  — free ware. When I used to use it one had to close teh windows properly at the end of a session but it might be better nowadays

There is nothing worong with visual studio 2010 - does everything needed for the subject and at least you do nto need to learn any new commands etc…
