[Year 12 SofDev] Another study design oddity

*SD U4O2 KK03- techniques for measuring the reliability and maintainability
of networks, including audits, errors and software tracking tools*

Can someone suggest how *'errors'* can be a technique for measuring the
reliability and maintainability of networks?

Perhaps examining a log of errors might be useful, but I can't see how
errors themselves can be called a technique, even so close to Christmas.
