[Moodle] Release of the Ultranet Request for Tender

Curious that the one we see as the logical choice, already in place in so
many schools, colleges and universities around the world doesn't even get a
look in... ohhh that's right... someone wants to profit from it...

So we are governed yet again .. not by what is best for us and our students,
but by the almighty dollar..... sorry does that sound too cynical?

It's a selective tender between "Blackboard Australia Pty Ltd,
Desire2Learn Incorporated, Microsoft Australia, Oracle, and RM
Asia-Pacific". Good god I hope it isn't Microsoft (for obvious
reasons) or Blackboard (who have made the worst e-learning software
I've ever come across, and even tried to patent the concept of an
LMS). Oracle is respectable expect for having no noticeable background
in education. And I haven't heard of the other two.

Blah.
