[Moodle] Using Moodle for Pedagogical PD?

Hello Fellow Moodlers.
Something a little off-topic, but closely related to valid uses for
Moodle in our over-worked schools.
Have any of you experimented with (or seen others doing it) using the
CMS/wiki/etc of Moodle to allow teachers to help one another with
pedagogical problems? e.g. how to get kids interested, disciplining the
little darlings, etc etc...
