[Year 12 IT Apps] HELP! Year 11 and 12 IT combined class

this situation, although rare and not ideal, does happen.​

Let's say you get 6 periods a cycle on your load for 1 VCE subject - will
you be given 12 periods for being expected to still prepare separate
subjects and conduct them as individual subjects?

>From information regarding this in the past, the school is encouraged to:

1. Ensure the teacher has lots of experience in both subjects - I have
heard that "the teacher needs to be highly experienced" - but everyone's
different of course - you can get a first year teacher out that's super
competent and hard working.
2. Make certain provisions such as reduced yard duties, etc.
3. Try and have a mentor for the teacher during times of unsurity and
needed guidance

That's just from what I know.
