Dear colleagues

I think that Victorian teachers and students should feel proud of their
efforts in this national testing of ICT literacy. (Grade 6 and year 10
students were randomly tested throughout Australia in 2008) Nationally
Victorian students performed second only after the ACT, with grade 6
students making a significant improvement from 2005. I would urge all
teachers to read the report as it is quite insightful.

Work is beginning on the next round of national testing which will take
place in 2011.

Regards
paula
