Accessing professional development has never been easier for teachers, 
with the internet opening up a veritable smorgasbord of possibilities for 
those keen to learn new skills.

Making sense of the latest jargon and finding out about best practice can 
be a daunting prospect for beginners, so, to make things easier, Steve 
Collis is running a ‘getting started’ online PD seminar for readers of 
Australian Teacher Magazine and Tmail.

Educators teaching all age ranges can pick his brains for online 
professional development tips during a one-hour web seminar and question 
and answer session on Monday, April 12, 8-9pm (EST).

Collis was awarded the Microsoft Innovative Teachers of the Year in 2006 
and honoured at the National Quality Schools Awards for Excellence by a 
Teacher in 2007. He is a French teacher and director of innovation at

Life, are still baffled by blogs or tempted by Twitter but not sure where 
to start, simply sign up to the session, log on and broaden your teaching 
horizons.
