Came across this site today whilst looking at online resources for my sub-VCE classes(7-10's). If you do choose to use it, have a look at the 'about' button and take note of the authors details, a perfect example of age being no barrier to learning.
I like it for its tutes on photoshop, oh, and by the way, the author is a young female from South Oz, hows that for local talent!

Well done to her, I say.

I am sure some of my students(and perhaps some of yours too!) will benefit from some of the info/tutes on this site.

(not a paid ad and no self-interest here, just an example of useful info and Aussie ingenuity!)

Gee, thanks for that (finding the survey)...
Ok, now I have gained further qualifications,(in 2007 and from a National Uni too!!), I therefore am a better teacher (apparently!)...

Again, how does one determine what 'performance' is? Is the govt still chasing its tail while we still suffer with low pay after 10+ years of service? Blah, Blah, yadda, yadda, someone get me a bucket!!

Ah, found it:
http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/rudd-learns-tough-lesson/2008/01/15/1200159449769.html?page=fullpage#contentSwap1

"About 13,000 teachers and principals in the public and private school
systems took part in the national survey. Of those, about 70% agreed
that higher pay based on competence or extra qualifications would help
retain more teachers."
