[Yr7-10it] RE: regional PD

Yes of course I'm not opposed to people trying -

Just flagging some likely issues with the technology / experience

you've "heard it before" - maybe because people are simply reporting on
what they've observed before?

online training is not often a great solution for *synchronous groups* -
(though I'm happy to be corrected if people can point some out) - but
all power to the interested parties if they can make it work - someone
will find a good solution somewhere; just harder than it seems I think

on reflection what I'm saying boils down to this - might be better to
aim ie make the online bit the main game - aim squarely at providing
regional / distance / online solutions -

ie that's better than a system which ties to "listens in" or participate
with a training event which is predominately face to face - ie I don't
know the hybrid works that well yet - except for lectures etc

eg a model I've seen is the "Breeze" style live broadcast with chat /
audio feedback - maybe that could be looked at for online approaches

Cheers

Rob
