We do the following:

year 7: touch typing, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Paint, Photoshop
year 8: touch typing, Filemaker Pro, Publisher, Movie maker, Photoshop,
Audacity, Powerpoint (or Producer - having a look at it for next year)
year 9: Dreamweaver (including CSS), Flash (including basic Actionscript)
year 9: Robotics (Lego Mindstorm kits, Robolab software)
year 10: Director
year 10: Visual Basic / HTML / Javascript (if time)
year 10: Business Computing (accounting concepts / Powerpoint)
year 10: Robotics

We only do 2 - 3 weeks on the typing using Mavis Beacon (fun!), then the
students do it progressively for 5 - 10 min each lesson (otherwise you get
too many 2-fingered typists in later years :)

Each subject in each year level runs for one semester. The collaborative
work will be done using Moodle and the project planning using either Excel
or MS Project (preferable).

In the future, year 7 and 8 may be spread amongst other KLAs, but it's
still being debated. Year 9 & 10 are electives. Might fit in game maker
with VB or just do games in VB for a term - still tossing it up!
