[Yr7-10it] digital portfolios

Hi Andrew - I feel that almost anything would be OK for the kids to use
to create their digital portfolio, but each has certain strengths and
weaknesses.
My reason for selecting a 'website' is that it introduces them to this
medium in a highly personal way (i.e. their items are stored there) so
this should motivate them over the 'learning humps' as they become
familiar with the specific demands placed on those of us who select
html. They are forced to demonstrate more logic and discipline with
their file management - is this good? Only if they intend going on
creating more websites in the future.
Hyperlinks are just as workable in powerpoint as in a website, but
somehow I like the independence of each web page.
Ciao, Keith
