Thanks Robert and Sophia,

I had always thought that the exam computers would have to have media encoder installed on them and that this was not a permitted software product.

I can see it embeds the production of the mp4 file within Animate so this may be okay. I will discuss with our Techs.

I don't use animate BUT

You will need Adobe Media Encoder for this to work.

VLC Media can convert Media | Convert/Save | Add (the mov file) | Convert | Video H.264 + MP3 (MP4) | pick a destination | click play

Hi all,

I understand that Flash player will be unsupported on most platforms by the end of this year. I was wondering if anyone can help me with getting Animate to generate MP4 video. At the moment, my students can only generate .mov files and Dreamweaver will not permit these to be played. I'm not sure where I am going wrong with this but am going around in circles!!!

Please help, if you can.
