The following are webinars that are being run by us at the VCAA for Digital Technologies next week (Week 3 of Term 1) for teachers and leaders in schools. I have included all details and the links below.

1.      Monday 12 February        Steve Allen (VCAA Specialist Teacher)        4.00pm-5.00pm

Title:              The Digital Systems Strand in the Digital Technologies Curriculum (F-10)

Time:             1 hour

Abstract
This online session will be for teachers of the Digital Technologies curriculum from F-10 in the Digital Systems strand. They will become familiar with the content descriptions, key terms, the continuum throughout the levels and approaches to teaching. This session will be suitable for all F-10 teachers.

2.      Tuesday 13 February        Richard Fox (VCAA Specialist Teacher)       4.00pm-5.00pm

Title:              Curriculum Planning for Digital Technologies (7-10)

Time:             1 hour

Abstract
This online session will introduce participants to planning for the Digital Technologies curriculum from 7-10. They will become familiar with the curriculum and scope and sequence. Content of the session will include: examples of how the curriculum can be planned, discussion of sample activities and units as well as potential connections across the curriculum. This session will be suitable for teachers with a basic knowledge of the curriculum. Curriculum leaders are strongly encouraged to attend.
