[Yr11 Information Technology] Seeking teacher volunteers to test new age technology

Hi all,

An exciting opportunity has come our way, for showcasing how new age technology could be used in increasing student engagement within the education sector for K-12 schools.

Therefore we are looking for teacher volunteers who are seeking a Professional Development opportunity to work with new age technology.
The involvement will be hands-on, require lateral thinking, intellectually stimulating and fun.
Estimated availability required: 2 weeks in early January 2017.

There may be a requirement post the initial development & collaboration stage to present a demo within a school environment (possibly in February 2017 - timeframes To Be Confirmed)

Teacher requirements x 2 with experience in the following areas -


  *   Familiarity with the Australian Curriculum and actual teaching experience (5 to 8 years minimum)
  *   Willingness to explore with technology in the classroom
  *   Upper Primary (Class 4-6), Middle School (Class 7-8) or Senior Years (Class 9-10)
  *   Subject areas of expertise: English, Social Studies, Science or Art
  *   Reasonable proficiency levels in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publisher, Adobe Photoshop or other popular Graphics packages
  *   Any instructional design knowledge / experience or understanding would be a bonus
  *   Using existing Lesson Plans to be able to be modified & integrated with Augmented Reality (AR) technology platform for use in classroom environments (during this phase the teachers will be actively collaborating or working with Appearition SMEs)
